Support The Right Not The Graffiti

We support the first amendment, (freedom of speech) as we're sure much of our nation does as well, but when that freedom is used to spray opinions or "art" on your facilities concrete, we draw the line.

With current events such as the Presidential Election rocking much of America, protests have sparked up around our great nation. With such a tightly contested race, there was certainly going to be some very unhappy people no matter which candidate ended up winning. Some of the protests have been peaceful but unfortunately many are not, and there seems to be an increase of Graffiti showing up overnight on the walls, steps, and streets.
"So, what do you do as a facility manager to protect the integrity of the buildings under your charge?"
Many recommend that you cover it immediately using anything available like a tarp or sign. Although a very temporary solution, this serves as a way to take control of the situation and end any negative impression that might be forced upon those who pass by. For removal, there are several options that include pressure washing, sandblasting, and painting over the graffiti. These solutions range from simple to complicated, messy and sometimes expensive. No matter which approach you take, the key is to handle it as quickly and smoothly as possible which saves time, money and protects the integrity of your organization. When performing concrete jobs, we use our Anti-Graffiti Clear Surface Treatment. This clear, inorganic, cross-link cured product is a non-sacrificial anti-graffiti coating. Its tightly knit film structure will not allow penetration of common graffiti material, so it lifts more easily from the surface. We love this country and the freedoms afforded to us. With those freedoms, things like vandalism, protests and graffiti will unfortunately still happen. If it cannot always be prevented, we believe restoring the country back to its original quickly and easily is important. Although we do not have solutions to fix all the challenges we face in this great nation of ours, we do have some excellent solutions for concrete!
